Rocco Simari
I'm a former Industrial Arts high school teacher who fifteen years ago became a stay at home dad. I'm a husband to a loving wife and father of four wonderful teenagers, two boys and two girls, and our dog Briar Roze.
I love history, though I never became a historian. I love photography, though I never became a photographer. I love to cook, though I never became a chef. I love to build so I became a carpenter.
I did so because my father was a carpenter/woodworker and I was always at his side ever since I was a child. I learned the trade from him and eventually went on to college and earned my degree in education.
I'm passionate about a lot of things I do, and one of the things I'm most passionate about is to write. I started this blog because it gives me a chance to write and share my ideas and skills with an audience. My blogs consist of historical anecdotes, cooking recipes, home improvements, poems, and whatever ideas come to mind and feel like sharing. I hope you enjoy them.
